The skilled cabinetmaker could make; chairs, tables, bookcases, dressers, nightstands, desks, and instuments.

Peter Scott is the earliest documented cabinetmaker who appeared on records in 1722. Sevan masters operated shops at that time. One of the largest and progressive shops was Anthony Hay's.
